This contest is open to individuals who:

• Are 18 years of age or older at time of entry
• Are residents of Halifax Regional Municipality, Nova Scotia, Canada, OR able to arrange pickup at Dal Bookstore within 30 days
• Have a valid Instagram account

Employees of Dal Bookstore and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

Winner Selection

• Winner will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
• Random selection will occur on Wednesday, March 18, 2026.
• Winner will be contacted via Instagram direct message within 24 hours of selection.
• Winner must respond within 14 days to claim their prize.

Odds of Winning

Chances of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the contest period. Based on typical engagement, estimated odds are approximately 1 in 100–1,500 entries.

Prize Distribution

• Winner must claim prize within 30 days of notification.
• Prize must be picked up in person at Dal Bookstore (6136 University Avenue, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2) during regular business hours.
• Winner may arrange for someone else to pick up on their behalf with proper identification and authorization.
• Prize has no cash value and cannot be transferred or substituted.

Skill-Testing Question

As required by Canadian law, the selected winner may be required to correctly answer a skill-testing mathematical question before receiving their prize.
