Faculty Resources
The Dal Bookstore is able to offer digital content from most publishers in partnership with Campus eBookstore (CEI).
Campus eBookstore (CEI) provides digital access codes for content from many publishers. We have used CEI for a long time, and it works well. Students receive an access code to redeem through our website, and they are emailed a second code to unlock the content. This two-step process makes returns easier for students who have not redeemed their codes.
At times we will sell printed access codes for smaller publishers who do not have a digital platform to sell them. We are also able to sell some digital products through our affiliate partner, Login Brothers.
Please contact one of us for more information on which option will suit you best. And when ordering, please be sure to provide accurate information so we can investigate the best pricing and platform for your course.
courseware
It’s important to let our team know when you require online courseware supplied by our publishers.
If you do not require courseware for a significant portion of the course, we recommend eBooks as they are less expensive. Packages that contain courseware increase the cost for your students and if they are not mandatory, few students ever sign up for them.
Please be very clear when submitting your order and ensure we have all the information on the form provided.
Digital Partner
Campus eBookstore (CEI) aims to create a level playing field for all course materials. CEI includes products from major publishers, faculty authors, small presses, university presses, open educational resources (OER), public domain, and free course materials.
Access codes are purchased directly from the Dal Bookstore. Students then redeem their codes to gain access to their course materials through a digital reader like BibliU, VitalSource or the publisher's courseware platform.
Additional options: At times we will sell printed access codes for smaller publishers who do not have a digital platform to sell them. We are also able to sell some digital products through our affiliate partner, Login Brothers. Contact our team to find out which option best suits your course.
