Let us introduce you to Tiffani, an African Nova Scotian entrepreneur who embraced self-acceptance, which led her to create a line of skincare and haircare products to help others do the same.
Tiffani Young didn't always embrace her true and natural self. She shied away from those things which made her Tiffani.
It wasn't until she attended Saint Mary's University that Tiffani began to recognize and celebrate her uniqueness. This realization sparked the idea of Natural Butter Bar, a line of universal, plant-based skincare and haircare products created to inspire self-acceptance in everyone – regardless of skin or hair type.
Despite any self-doubt, Tiffani recognized a gap in the market and seized the opportunity. With encouragement and support from the community, Tiffani launched Natural Butter Bar in December 2020.
Since then, Tiffani has not only been successful in driving her business forward but has been equally passionate about the motivation behind the idea: Everyone deserves to love and accept themselves.

Tiffani aims to lift others up with her Community outreach program called Uncover Your Essence, which is designed to help improve the self-confidence and esteem of youth and women, especially those from Black and Indigenous communities.
Tiffani's message is an important one and drives home the idea that to help lift one another up, we have to accept ourselves first.
